POP Seminar: Huili Chen, M.S. on Thurs, October 8, 2020

Please join POP Seminar Announcement 100820us Thursday, 10/08/2020 for POP Research seminar of the Fall 2020, held from 11:00 am-12:30 pm in the Health Professions, Nursing, and Pharmacy Building Auditorium (Room HPNP 1404) or via Zoom. We will be welcoming, Huili Chen, M.S. as our seminar speaker.

Huili Chen graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona in 2016. After graduation, she worked in a biopharmaceutical company named Frontida BioPharm, Inc in Philadelphia, PA as a formulation scientist in the Research and Development Department. Later, Ms. Chen worked as a Clinical Research Associate to design and monitor several early phase and bioequivalence clinical studies in China. In 2019, she graduated with a Master’s in Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University, and then received an internship as a Summer Fellowship at the FDA under the Office of Clinical Pharmacology in the Center of Drug Evaluation and Research. After the experience at the FDA, Ms. Chen worked as a clinical pharmacology consultant in a regulatory consulting firm called DataRevive, LLC in Rockville, MD.  She has helped clients to submit over 10 applications for Investigational New Drug (IND), New Drug Application (NDA) with Accelerated Approval, several Orphan Drug Designations (ODD) and Initial Pediatric Study Plan (iPSP) applications.

Her seminar title is: “FDA OCP Internship Research Sharing – Building a Personalized Knowledge System in Clinical Pharmacology Using a Network Approach & Considerations for Dose Optimization of PD-1/PD-L1 Inhibitors”.
