POP Seminar Speakers: Rana Alkhanbashi, and Gayathri Konduri 04/07/2026

Please join us on Tuesday, 04/07/2026 for POP Research Seminar of the Spring 2026, held from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM in NVIDIA Auditorium (1st Floor). We will be welcoming , Rana Alkhanbashi, PharmD, MHA, and Gayathri Konduri, PharmD, MS .

Rana Alkhanbashi, PharmD, MHA, is a second year Master’s student in POP. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from King Abdulaziz University and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Saudi Electronic University in partnership with Colorado State University-Global Campus, USA, from Saudi Arabia. Prior to beginning her second master’s, she worked as a clinical pharmacist and pharmacy quality facilitator in a tertiary governmental hospital in Jeddah at Saudi Arabia. Her research interests focus on medication safety, treatment patterns, and clinical outcomes within hospital and health-system pharmacy practice, including the evaluation of clinical pharmacist interventions, quality improvement initiatives, and related healthcare policies.

Gayathri Konduri, PharmD, MS, earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from India in 2022. After graduation, she worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator gaining hands-on experience in clinical trial operations. In Fall 2023, she was admitted to the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Florida to pursue a Master of Science in Epidemiology. During her time at the University of Florida, she was mentored by Drew Westmoreland. She completed her Master of Science in Epidemiology in August 2025. She is currently a first-year PhD student in the Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy program at the University of Florida, where she is mentored by Nirma Khatri Vadlamudi. Her academic interests include mental health, substance use, infectious diseases, and cardiovascular epidemiology.
