POP Seminar Speaker, Brendan Chang, MS. and Yanning Wang, MS, 10/07/2025

Please join us Tuesday, 10/07/2025 for POP Research Seminar of the Spring 2025, held from 10:40 am-12:40 pm in NVIDIA Auditorium (1st Floor). We will be welcoming , Brendan Chang, MS and Yanning Wang, MS 

Brendan Chang, MS is a PhD student in the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy under the supervision of Dr. Park. He received bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Taipei Medical university, Taiwan. Before joining the POP, he worked as a clinical research pharmacist in a cancer hospital. His research interest focuses on liver diseases and cancer. His seminar title presented is: “Effect of statin on the risk of advanced liver disease and mortality among patients with chronic liver disease: a systematic review and meta-analysis”.

Yanning Wang, MS is a PhD student in the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at the University of Florida. Her research focuses on drug benefit-risk assessment and the evaluation of medication safety during pregnancy. She is particularly interested in chronic medication use during pregnancy, balancing maternal disease control with potential fetal risks. Her Seminar title presented is: ” Optimizing Antihypertensive Treatment Strategies for Pregnant Women with Chronic Hypertension”.
