Please join us Thursday, 2/13/2025 for POP Research Seminar of the Spring 2025, held from 11:30 am-1:00 pm in NVIDIA Auditorium (1st Floor). We will be welcoming Mohammad Yaseliani, MSc, Amirah Alnahdi, PharmD and Annie (Yishan) Chen, MPH, as our seminar speakers.
Mohammad Yaseliani, MSc., Mohammad Yaseliani got his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. He got his master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology. He is currently a second-year PhD student, working on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for advancing health outcomes research. Mohammad’s seminar title is: “A Lightweight Graph Convolutional Network to Predict Long-Term Mortality in Coronary Artery Disease Patients: An Interpretable Causality-Aware Approach”
Annie (Yishan) Chen, MPH, Annie got her bachelors in chemistry from The Ohio State University. Then she received her MPH from Columbia University with her concentration in Biostatics and Epidemiology. Annie’s seminar title is: “TSH Testing Patterns for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes and Hypothyroidism after GLP-1 RA Initiation in a Target Trial Setting”
Amirah Alnahdi, PharmD, M.S., Amirah, is a pharmacist graduated from King Saud University, and is currently pursuing her second year of a master’s degree in POP. Also, she is employed at the Drug Policy and Regulation Administration within the Ministry of Health in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Amirah’s seminar title is: “Evaluation Major Cardiovascular Event Risk of Advanced Therapies in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD): Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis”
