POP Seminar Guest Speaker, Celeste Ewig, PharmD and Yanning Wang, MS, 10/24/2024

Please join us Thursday, 10/24/2024 for POP Research Seminar of the Fall 2024, held from 11:30 am-1:00 pm in NVIDIA Auditorium (1st Floor). We will be welcoming Celeste Ewig, PharmD and Yanning Wang, MS, as our seminar speakers.

Celeste Ewig, PharmD, Celeste is currently a 4th year PhD student working under the guidance of Dr. Almut Winterstein. Prior to joining UF, she was an academic pediatric clinical pharmacist. Her research interests focuses on addressing clinical dilemmas involving pregnant and pediatric populations. Celeste’s seminar title is: “The Teratogenic Risk Impact and Mitigation (TRIM) Tool: Development of explicit criteria and metrics for Teratogenicity Risk Mitigation Programs”

Yanning Wang, MS, is a fourth-year PhD student in the Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy program at the University of Florida. Her current research is centered on drug benefit-risk assessment and the evaluation of drug safety during pregnancy. She is also passionate about using data visualizations to enhance research communication and dissemination.  Yanning’s seminar title is:The Teratogenic Risk Impact and Mitigation (TRIM) Tool: Development of Scoring Weights to Prioritize Medications for Risk Management Beyond Labelling”
