Please join us Monday 3/18/2024 for POP Research Seminar of the Spring 2024, held from 10:45am-12:00 pm in Room 7200, DSIT Bldg 7th Floor. We will be welcoming Qi “Chloe” Jian, MPH, Chanakan Jenjai, PharmD., as our Seminar speakers.
Qi “Chole” Jian, MPH., originally from China, is currently in her first year as a PhD student, working under the supervision of Dr. Jiao. She completed her undergraduate degree in Mathematics at Boston University. Following this, she pursued a Master of Public Health, specializing in Biostatistics, at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Her seminar title is: “Use of Immunomodulators/Biologics is protective against Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events in Medicare patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease over use of 5-ASA alone.”
Chanakan Jenjai, PharmD., Chanakan Jenjai graduated from the PharmD program at Chiangmai University in Thailand in 2016. Following graduation, she gained clinical experience working in a hospital for four years before transitioning to a local pharmacy where she worked as a lead pharmacist and oversaw 6 branches. She is a first-year master’s student who recently joined the POP department last semester. Her seminar title is: “Demographics, utilization patterns and effectiveness of injection versus oral medication for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis.”
