POP Seminar Guest Speaker, Janie Coulombe, Ph.D., M.S., B.S. : 11/16/2023

Please join us Thursday, 11/16/2023 for POP Research Seminar of the Spring 2023, held from 11:00 am-12:00 pm in HPNP Auditorium (room 1404). We will be welcoming Dr. Janie Coulobme, Ph.D., M.S., B.S., as our seminar speaker.

Dr. Janie Coulombe, Ph.D., M.S.,B.S. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the Université de Montréal. She graduated with a PhD in Biostatistics from McGill University (2021) under the supervision of Drs. Erica E. M. Moodie and Robert W. Platt, and pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at McGill University working in collaboration with Dr. Moodie and Dr. Susan Shortreed (University of Washington, Kaiser Permanente Washington). Her research focuses on developing statistical methods for causal inference under irregular observation times and other special features of observational data such as missing data. Dr. Coulombe’s seminar title is : “Developing adaptive treatment strategies under irregular measurement times of the outcome: Choosing an optimal antidepressant drug for patients with depression in data from Kaiser Permanente Washington”
