POP Seminar Guest Speaker and Faculty Candidate, Ryan Suk, PhD, MS.; 04/14/2023

Please join us Thursday, 04/14/2023 for POP Research Seminar of the Spring 2023, held from 2:00pm – 3:00pm in Communicore Bldg. (room C1-004). We will be welcoming Ryan Suk, PhD., MS; as our seminar speaker.

Ryan Suk

Dr. Ryan Suk is an Assistant Professor in Health Economics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Public Health. Her research area is in population health science and economic evaluation, using large-scale data and decision modeling. Dr. Suk research focuses on HPV-associated cancer, with a particular emphasis on health equity and multi-level social determinants of health (SDoH), including LGBTQIA+ health and area-level social vulnerability. She received a PhD in Public Health, concentrating in Health Economics, at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2020. Dr. Suk also hold a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Utah and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Korea University (Seoul, Korea). Dr. Suk seminar title is: “Multi-Level Social Determinants of Health and HPV-Associated Cancer Prevention in Diverse Population”.
