Tiansheng Wang, 
is a postdoc fellow in the department of epidemiology at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). He is a pharmacoepidemiologist with an interest in the comparative effectiveness and safety research of medications. His research focuses on 1) developing and applying heterogeneous treatment effect assessment methods in real-world data; 2) drug repurposing using computational strategies and real-world data to assess the effectiveness of nominated repurposing candidates. Dr. Wang’s presenatation title is: “Using Real -World Data to Discover Novel Drug Candidates”.
