Please join us Thursday, 02/09/2023 for POP Research Seminar of the Spring 2023, held from 11:00 am-12:30 pm in HPNP Auditorium. We will be welcoming Shailina Keshwani, M.S. and Shu Huang, M.S., M.P.H, as our seminar speakers.
Shailina Keshwani, is a fourth-year PhD student working under the supervision of Dr. Smith. She received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Mumbai University, India and master’s degree from our POP department. Currently her research interests include hypertension and pain management. Shailina presentation title is: “Predictors of Initial Antihypertensive Intensity in Newly-Treated Hypertension Patients with Hypertension”.
Shu Huang, is a third-year PhD student in the Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy program, working under the direction of Dr. Lo-Ciganic. She obtained her MS degree in Biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University, and an MPH degree in Biostatistics at Yale school of public health. Shu current research interests are in suicide prediction modeling, chronic pain, opioid overdose, and machine learning. Shu presentation title is: “Characteristics of US Medicare beneficiaries with chronic cough vs. non-chronic cough: 2011-2018”.
