POP Seminar: Wenxi Huang, B.S., M.S. and Piaopiao Li, B.S.Pharm., M.S., 11/03/2022

Piaopiao Li & Wenxi HuangPlease join us Thursday, 11/03/2022 for POP Research Seminar of the Fall 2022, held from 11:00 am-12:30 pm in Medical Sciences Building 6120. We will be welcoming  Wenxi Huang, B.S., M.S., and Piaopiao, B.S.Pharm., M.S., as our seminar speakers.   

Wenxi Huang, is a first-year Master student at the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy, with Dr. Jingchuan Guo as her advisor. She received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from South China University of Technology in China. She then completed her master’s at Florida International University, majoring in Chemistry and Information systems. Wenxi’s research interests lay mainly in the field of pharmacoeconomic and health services research. Her seminar title is: “Trajectories of Entresto (Sacubitril/Valsartan) Adherence Among Medicare Beneficiaries with Heart Failure.”

Piaopiao Li, is a third-year Ph.D. student at the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy, with Dr. Hui Shao as her advisor. She received her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and master’s degree of pharmaceutical science from Peking University in China. She worked as a clinical research associate in Johnson&Johnson in China. Piaopiao’s research interests lay mainly in the field of pharmacoeconomics and health services research. Her current research interests are in diabetes, microsimulation, and econometrics method. Her seminar title is: “Using Real-world Data to Assess the Burden of Diabetes in Children and Adolescents in Florida.”
