POP Seminar: Asinamai Ndai, M.S. on 03/17/2022

Please join us Thursday, 03/17/2022 for POP Research seminar of the Spring 2022, held from 11:00am – 12:00pm in Communicore building, Room C1-04, or via Zoom. We will be welcoming  Asinamai Ndai, M.S. as our seminar speaker.

 AsinamAsinamai Ndaiai, is a first year PhD student at the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes working under the mentorship of Dr. Scott M. Vouri. Prior to joining UF, he graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. After graduating from pharmacy school, he worked for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program, an organization that works with the government to strengthen local capacity for a sustainable HIV/AIDS response in Nigeria and ensure the supply chain of life-saving health commodities runs efficiently. Then, he came to Indiana, USA, and got his master’s degree in Global Affairs (Sustainable Development) from the University of Notre Dame. His research interest includes prescribing cascades and potentially inappropriate medications in older adults.

His seminar title is: Evaluating Provider and Pharmacy Discordance in Potential Calcium Channel Blocker – Loop Diuretic Prescribing Cascades.”
