Please join us Thursday, 11/18/2021 for POP Research seminar of the Spring 2021, held from 11:00am – 12:00pm in Communicore, via Zoom. We will be welcoming Bo Zhou, PhD as our seminar speaker.
Dr. Zhou is a research assistant professor at the USC School of Pharmacy and USC Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics. Prior to that, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the USC Schaeffer Center. She graduated with a PhD in economics from the University of Southern California in 2014. Her dissertation studied applications of Markov switching models in economics. She works on health policy, health economics and patient outcomes including consumer inertia in Medicare Part D, the impact of prior authorization on drug consumption and patient outcomes, the association between drug use and incidence of neurodegenerative diseases, and value-based insurance design in in Medicare Part D.
