POP Seminar: Peggy Chang and Munaza Riaz, 10/28/2021

chang.RiazPlease join us Thursday, 10/28/2021 for POP Research seminar of the Fall 2021, held from 11:00 am-12:30 pm in HPNP Auditorium, Room HPNP 1404. We will be welcoming Ching-Yuan (Peggy) Chang, M.S. and Munaza Riaz, Pharm.D., M.Phil. as our seminar speakers.

Peggy Chang is a fifth-year Ph.D. student. She joined POP department in 2018 and her mentor is Dr. Lo-ciganic. She is interested in pharmacoepidemiology and drug safety. Her dissertation involved evaluating non-adherence to antidepressants among breast cancer survivors.  His seminar title presented is: Trends and Characteristics Associated with Nonadherence to Antidepressants among Breast Cancer Survivors.

Munaza Riaz is a 5th year PhD student working under the supervision of Dr. Park. She is a pharmacist by training from Pakistan. She was awarded Fulbright PhD scholarship in 2017. Her research interests are cardiology, women’s health, and infectious diseases. Her seminar title presented is: Direct Medical Costs of Sacubitril/Valsartan versus Antagonists in Heart Failure with Reduced Ejection Fraction.
