Please join us Thursday, 03/18/2021 for POP Research seminar of the Spring 2021, held from 11:45 am-1:15 pm in Communicore, Room C1-04, or via Zoom. We will be welcoming Golnoosh Alipour Haris, PharmD and Yahan Zhang, B.S.Pharm, M.S., B.S.Pharm. as our seminar speakers.
Golnoosh Alipour Haris is graduated with her PharmD in Iran, during which she worked as a pharmacist. After graduation, worked as a medical science liaison. Golnoosh is currently a second-year master’s student in the POP department. Her seminar title presented is: “Medication regimen complexity among Medicare beneficiaries newly diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias.” His mentor/advisor is Dr. Joshua Brown.
Yahan Zhang is is a second year Master student in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy department. In 2017, Yahan Zhang got the Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. She received a Master’s of Science degree in Pharmacology and Drug Development from Tufts University in 2019. During the study at UF, Yahan has been working on cancer and diabetic related projects. Her seminar title presented is: “Comparing the Downstream Costs and Healthcare Utilization Associated with the Use of Low-dose Computed Tomography (LDCT) in Lung Cancer Screening in Patients with and without Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD)” Her mentor/advisor is Dr. Hui Shao.
