Please join us Thursday, 01/14/2021 for POP Research seminar of the Spring 2021, held from 11:45 am-1:15 pm in MSB Auditorium, Room 2-200, or via Zoom. We will be welcoming, Mohanned Elkhider, M.S., B.S. Pharm, as our seminar speaker.
Mr. Elkhider is a 5th year PhD student at the department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy. Working for the department of drug control, Oman Ministry of Health. Received a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from the Leicester School of Pharmacy at DMU, the United Kingdom. Received pharmacy degree from Oman Medical College (the name has recently been changed to the National University). Areas of interest are Comparative Safety and Effectiveness as well as Value Based Pricing (VBP) agreements. His seminar title is: “Addressing the economic burden of postoperative pneumonia: Would preoperative inspiratory muscle training help? – An exploratory research brief“.
