We will be welcoming our graduate students Motomori Lewis, B.S. and Yushi Huang, Pharm.D. as our seminar speakers. Their seminar topics are listed below:

Motomori Lewis is a second year Ph.D. student who joined the POP program in Fall 2018. Motomori received her Bachelors degrees in Public Health and Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida. She first encountered the department during a summer undergraduate research fellowship in 2017. Since joining POP, Motomori has been engaged in bringing pharmacoepidemiological methods to the study of sickle cell disease. Her seminar title: Trends in Hydroxyurea Utilization among Commercially Insured Adults with Sickle Cell Disease, 2005-2018

Yushi Huang is a second year Ph.D. student. She graduated  with her Pharm.D. from University of Florida in 2018, and her interests include pharmacoeconomics and healthcare outcomes research. She is also interested in research related to lung cancer and immunotherapy cancer treatment. Her seminar title: Healthcare Resource Utilization Analysis on Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors in Patients with Metastatic Lung Cancer using Claims Database
