We will be welcoming our graduate students Phuong Tran, M.P.H. and Ching-Yuan Chang, M.S. as our seminar speakers. Their seminar topics are listed below:

Phuong Tran: Otic quinolones and systemic adverse events: A preliminary analysis

Ching-Yuan Chang: Trajectories of Opiod Utilization among Women with Breast Cancer

Phuong Tran is a second year Ph.D. student in POP department under Dr. Winterstein ’s supervision. She got a pharmacy degree at University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Viet Nam and Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University with additional certificate in Drug Safety and Effectiveness. Her research interests are pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics related to cancer, vaccine and antibiotics.

Ching-Yuan Chang is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcome & Policy at University of Florida. She had her pharmacy degree in Taiwan, and a Master of Clinical pharmacy at Taipei Medical University. Her research interest is pharmacoepidemiology and health economics.
