We will be welcoming our Postdoc Associate Sabina O Nduaguba, M.S.Pharm., M.S., Ph.D. and graduate student Mohannad Elkhider, M.S. as our seminar speakers. The seminar topics are listed below.

Sabina Nduaguba: Unintended Pregnancy among Commercially Insured Women of Child-bearing Age

Mohannad Elkhider: Oman Pharmacovigilance: An experience at a newly established department

Dr. Sabina Nduaguba earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Science in Clinical Pharmacy degrees at the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 2007 and 2012, respectively.  She then moved to The University of Texas at Austin where she earned a masters degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2016 and then a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and certification in Applied Statistical Modeling in 2018.  Most of her research focused on the application of health interventions and their effect on people living with HIV.  She is currently a postdoc in the area of pharmacoepidemiology under the mentorship of Dr. Almut Winterstein

Mohannad Elkhider is a 4th year Ph.D. students at the department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy. He is working for the department of drug control, Oman Ministry of Health, received a Masters degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from the Leicester School of Pharmacy at DMU, the United Kingdom. and received his pharmacy degree from Oman Medical College (the name has recently been changed to the National University). Areas of interest are Comparative Safety and Effectiveness as well as performance based pricing contracts.
