Dr. Sanogo will present: Assessing the impact of continuity of care on clinical and Resource Utilization Outcomes in patient with Acute Ischemic Stroke: A machine learning approach
Hyunjin Song is a Post-Doctoral Associate in the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy, at the University of Florida, College of Pharmacy. She earned her Bachelor and Master in Pharmacy in South Korea. She completed a Doctor of Philosophy at the Sungkunkwan University in 2016 specializing in Health and Social Pharmacy. Dr. Song previously worked as a Research Professor at the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kyungpook National University as well as an Adjunctive Professor in Graduate School of Clinical Pharmacy at CHA University. She also has work experiences as a researcher at the National Evidence-based Healthcare Collaborating Agency (NECA). Dr. Song has conducted cost-effectiveness research, decision analytic modeling, economic and health outcomes research, and systematic review of several diseases including blood and solid cancers, obesity, and asthma and she served as project lead for many researches these areas. Currently, her research has focused on health and cost outcomes research, drug safety, cost-effectiveness including modeling, quality of life research, and systematic review including meta-analysis.
Dr. Sanogo is an assistant scientist in the department of pharmaceutical outcomes and policy at the University Of Florida College Of Pharmacy. He received his Master in Economics from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (FR) and his Master in Corporate Finance from the INSEEC Business School of Paris. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (FR), with specialization in International Finance. Dr. Sanogo previously worked as a Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Forecasting and Analysis, Florida State University (FSU) and Lecturer in economics at Tallahassee Community College (TCC). He has taught principles of economics in the Division of Business Industry and Technology (TCC). In terms of research, he has conducted cost-effectiveness research, econometric evaluations, and served as project lead for a number of studies related to health policy (Methadone Treatment Program), health outcomes, financial development and economic growth, and small business development program evaluation. Currently, his research efforts are focused on economic impact assessments, health policy changes, and healthcare disparities among Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia patients.
