POP Seminar Announcement: Patrick Squires and Xinyi (Rose) Jiang

The UF College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy welcomes Patrick Squires and Xinyi (Rose) Jiang as our September 13th, 2018 POP research seminar presenters.

Patrick received his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. In Baltimore, Patrick worked as a research assistant with a gastroenterologist specializing in gastroesophageal reflux modifying surgeries. He then went on to Pharmacy School at the University of Pittsburgh where he received his Doctor of Pharmacy. In Pittsburgh, Patrick worked with outcomes researchers at the VA Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion (CHERP) analyzing policy benefits of Medicare and the VA. He is now a second year Ph.D. student in the Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy Ph.D. program. Patrick also works as a pharmacist on the Adult Intensive Care Team at UF Shands hospital.

Xinyi (Rose) Jiang graduated from China Pharmaceutical University with a major in Pharmaceutical Administration. As an undergraduate, she focused on Chinese Pharmaceutical laws. She got her master degree at our department last summer. Her interest is pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidimiogy.
