The UF College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy welcomes Dr. Zafar Zafari as our November 28th, 2017 Guest Speaker for POP Seminar.
Dr. Zafar Zafari is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Dept. of Health Policy and Management at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. He is also affiliated with the Department of Medicine at Columbia University as a health economist/outcomes researcher. His research covers a broad set of pharmaceutical health services research from economic evaluation to epidemiological studies for comparative effectiveness and drug safety to methodological studies to knowledge translation. Prior to his current position, he received the Four Year Doctoral Fellowship to do his Ph.D. in Health Economics in the Dept. of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. He is also a M.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics from University of British Columbia, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tehran Polytechnic
