The UF College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy welcomes Dr. Lin Li as our November 17th, 2017 Guest Speaker for POP Seminar.
Dr. Li is a NHLBI T32 postdoctoral research fellow trained in cardiovascular clinical and translational science. Her research interests include comparative effectiveness and medication safety research in vulnerable populations with cardiovascular disease, and application of advanced methodologies to improve the validity of observational studies using electronic health data sources. Under Dr. Kate Lapane’s mentorship, Dr. Li is building a program of research in comparative effectiveness and medication safety in nursing home residents with heart failure using the Minimum Data Set 3.0 crossed linked to Medicare claims data. Previously, Dr. Li worked as a pharmacoepidemiologist for 4 years at the Boston Collaborative Drug Surveillance Program, Boston University School of Public Health. Her previous research focused on post-marketing drug safety studies using large electronic healthcare databases (e.g., CPRD, MarketScan claims database).
