Dr. Earlene Lipowski, professor within the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy, was recently was appointed to a three year term (2013-2016) on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of the American Pharmacists Association (JAPhA). The Journal of the American Pharmacists Association is the peer-reviewed journal of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), which provides information on pharmaceutical care, drug therapy, diseases and other health issues, trends in pharmacy practice and therapeutics, informed opinion, and original research.
Lipowski is a very active member of the APhA, having recently been invited to give a presentation to the postgraduate forum on March 4, 2013 at the Annual Meeting of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) in Los Angeles. The title of the presentation was: “Is That Your Final Question? Selecting and Refining Great Research Questions”. Additionally, Lipowski served as a member of the House of Delegates representing the Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science at the same Annual Meeting.
