POP Seminar Announcement: Omotola Olasupo and Chintal Shah

Seminar announcement.

The UF College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy welcomes Omotola Olasupo and Chintal Shah as our March 20th, 2018 POP Seminar Presenters.

Omotola Olasupo is a third-year student in the Dept of Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy. She graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and a Master of Science in Pharmacy degree from POP department, University of Florida. Her work experience has included retail pharmacy, clinical pharmacy as well as sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry. Her current research projects focus on: 1) patterns and predictors of drug use in patients with cardiovascular disease, and 2) evaluation of clinical, economic and patient-reported outcomes involving immunotherapies, vaccines and health policy.

Chintal Shah is a pharmacist who went to pharmacy school at the University of Mumbai and graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 2016. With an interest in Health Economics ad Outcomes Research, he pursued a master’s degree in pharmaceutical outcomes and policy, in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Florida, Gainesville. He aims to pursue a Ph.D. in the same field.
