American Association of Universities Women awards fellowship to Ghadeer Dawwas

Ghadeer Dawwas, MBA, BSPharm, a graduate student in the department of pharmaceutical outcomes and policy, has been awarded an American Association of University Women, or AAUW, International Doctoral Degree Fellowship in the amount of $20,000. These prestigious awards are highly competitive and awarded to outstanding women in graduate studies. AAUW provided more than $3.7 million in funding 250 fellowships and grants for women worldwide for the 2017-18 academic year. The fellowship will assist Dawwas in completing her dissertation work, which focuses on examining the safety and effectiveness of anti-platelet therapy. She works under the supervision of Haesuk Park, Ph.D., an assistant professor of pharmaceutical outcomes and policy.
